However, it’s more expensive than last year’s iPhone 11, and it doesn’t come with a charger in the box; yes, there are environmental benefits to this, but you may need to factor buying a new charger into the cost of your new iPhone on top of the higher price.

This year’s iPhone 12 is a huge leap by almost every measure from the iPhone 11. And better still, the gap between the 12 and the Apple’s Pro iPhones has closed dramatically. The iPhone 12’s blend of design, performance and price make it as close to a no-brainer as possible, though people who loved the iPhone 11’s battery life will be a little disappointed. Even so, we have no doubt that for most people, the iPhone 12 is absolutely the right choice.

The iPhone 12 is a good phone, and I say good to make a point. It feels like it’s selling more than it’s offering. Superb performance and a great main camera wrapped in a stylish design are fairly compelling, but a weak ultra-wide sensor, a 3-year-old display, and a paltry base storage aren’t easy to overlook with everything else on the market.
