ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

The Nvidia RTX 3000 series has certainly led to an exciting launch. Sure, the performance has been impressive, but stock issues were inevitable given the more competitive prices and the huge leaps in performance compared to the RTX 200 series launch. Not only that, but AMD now have some serious competition, and overall, people just seem to be gaming a LOT more in 2020. No idea why though, do you?

The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti had much to like about it, but boost clock on our sample just wasn’t working with us. Hopefully this isn’t too common and the community has better random luck for a card that can reach high dynamic clocks!

Hexus.net (Approved) The Good: + Excellent at QHD, decent at 4K UHD + Extremely cool and quiet at all times + Only one power connector + Dual BIOS The Bad: - Price approaching RTX 3070 - No faster than Founders Edition - Stock still hard to come by

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE edition sits at the 399 USD marker, and I can only hope that ASUS will not be pricing this one with a 100 USD premium as that would be a tough sell, with the NVIDIA Founder edition being so good already. This is a product that I like as it offers proper performance at WQHD levels for us common folk. Not just that, you'll have the added benefit of playing some games with hybrid raytracing, as well as the fact that NVIDIA has Tensor cores onboard, offering more perf at complex workloads with DLSS.
