Colorful GeForce RTX 4080

Colorful has created an amazing, unique, look for their RTX 4080 Ultra White OC. The card looks amazing thanks to the white color theme, paired with color-shifting paint. While the cooler is a bit weaker than the other coolers tested today, the temperatures are still very good. Unfortunately noise levels are a bit high though. Especially the Turbo BIOS is fairly loud with 40 dBA. I understand that Colorful wanted to focus on temperatures, and probably set the FE as baseline that they had to beat. Personally I would have allowed slightly higher temperatures, maybe around 70°C, but with better noise levels. Also the fact that Colorful's "default" BIOS really is NVIDIA default clocks and power limit is a bit of a waste of the dual BIOS capability. Other vendors offer a "performance" vs "quiet" BIOS solution here, which gives the user more choices in my opinion. What's a completely illogical choice is that Colorful ships the card with the switch in the "default BIOS" position and not in the "Turbo" setting. This means that unless you are aware of the Turbo button, your card will run at Founders Edition clocks and power limit—not at the "OC" settings that they advertise everywhere and that you paid good money for.
