Fractal Design Torrent Nano Black RGB TG Light Tint, Glasfenster, Mini-ITX

Im heutigen Workvlog zeige ich euch wieder ein Mini ITX System, gespart mit einer vollwertigen Custom Wasserkühlung auf engstem Raum und der kompletten Einbaugeschichte. Und ja, auf engstem Raum braucht man auch sehr gelenkige Finger sowie ein klein wenig Ausdauer und viel Geduld. Und was braucht man noch so? Richtig: ein passendes Gehäuse! Und so habe ich nach einem neuen Zuhause für die Hardware gesucht und dabei fiel meine Wahl auf letztendlich das Fractal Torrent Nano. Dieses Case bietet einen ordentlichen Durchzug durch die Front und durch den Boden.

Das Fractal Design Torrent Nano ist ein wirklich gelungenes Gehäuse für Mini-ITX-Systeme. Zusammen mit den üppigen Kühlmöglichkeiten lässt sich das „Baby-Torrent“ schnell zu einem kompakten Powerhouse verwandeln.

In today's workvlog I show you again a Mini ITX system, saved with a full custom watercooling in the smallest space and the complete installation history. And yes, in the tightest of spaces you also need very jointed fingers as well as a tiny bit of stamina and a lot of patience. And what else do you need? That's right: a suitable housing! And so I was looking for a new home for the hardware, and my choice ultimately fell on the Fractal Torrent Nano. This case offers a decent draw through the front and through the bottom.

If you're looking for a stylish compact chassis to house your Mini ITX motherboard that offers flexibility, functions, and outstanding looks, the Fractal Design Torrent Node series certainly delivers. An LCS approach is virtually mandatory. You'll have reasonable options but advised is to place a 240mm nit in the front, and yes, it does look beautiful. However, once again, choose your components carefully as we do recommend an all SSD build as you want some extra cable routing space where the 3.5" bracket (removable) resides. For LCS I recommend 240mm as the biggest size, 280mm will come with compromises, e.g. dropping the included 180mm fan. If you follow these steps, you will have an incredible build though. Pricing will be 120 EUR for the Torrent Nano and add another tenner when going RGB for the fan. If you deem the price is right or warranted then in general, you're looking at a high-quality build; the Torrent Nano is quite strong, equipped with USB 3.2 and a single silent fan. It's certainly one of the more interesting compact chassis we've ever examined in this size albeit not the smallest Mini ITX chassis. The pricing is steep though.

That leaves you with the Fractal Design Torrent Nano being a beautiful, small variant of the massive Torrent, with a focus on air-cooling for an uncompromising use of its full hardware potential. As that is what the Torrent series is all about, this is a cool-looking, recommendable case. However, those looking to liquid-cool their ITX system have a slew of better-suited options out there.
