techpowerup.com: Montech Titan Gold 1000 W Review (translate)

warrantyWhile some might find it boring that most branded power supplies are produced by just a handful of OEMs, I disagree. I believe this still allows for significant variation in the end products, beyond just the styling of the external case. It also enables more competition in the market by allowing new players to enter, without the huge burden of developing a new PSU platform from scratch. The Montech Titan Gold 1000 W is a great example—it's hard to find any significant downsides in any of the parameters we measured. Yes, the sound levels at the top end of power delivery range do become clearly audible, but that's the case for nearly all competing PSUs as well.

nikktech.com: Montech Titan Gold 1000W ATX 3.0 Power Supply Unit Review (translate)

As I mentioned earlier Montech might not be one of the leading PSU manufacturers in the world but thanks to CWT their Titan Gold 1000W is a high quality and performance model. Yes, at just over full load the 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan does get a bit loud (luckily it doesn’t reach 2300RPM even at that point) but once again if you manage to somehow max the output of your PSU chances are noise coming from your CPU/GPU coolers will mask noise coming from the PSU. I’d also like to see two 12VHPWR connectors since they may eventually be needed but I do understand why Montech went with just one.

The Montech Titan Gold 1000W registers high performance, it is not noisy and it has a 12VHPWR connector. The most important of all, it passes all ATX v3.0 transient response tests, so it won’t have a problem powering the existing and upcoming graphics cards.

Montech's Titan Gold 1200W is a strong contender in the high-wattage PSU market. With excellent power quality, good efficiency, and ATX 3.0 compatibility, it caters to demanding gaming or workstation builds. However, its high noise output at full load and thermal stress under extended heavy usage may be drawbacks for some users.

hwbusters.com: Montech Titan Gold 1200W PSU Review (translate)

The Montech Titan Gold 1200W is almost identical to the Thermaltake GF3 1200W, costing less, while covered by the same ten-year warranty. It currently is the most affordable true ATX v3.0 1200W unit, certified by Cybenetics, close to the 200 dollar mark.

    guru3d.com: Montech Titan Gold 1200W - 1200W ATX 3.0 PSU review (translate)

The Montech Titan Gold 1200W is a very good product, especially since it’s the company’s debut in this segment. The size is relatively compact (160 mm in length), so you won’t need a bigger chassis to make it fit without a problem. The exterior looks fine (in all black), but the thing is that most of the chassis nowadays have a PSU shroud, which would hide this piece of art behind a metal. You can find the fanless mode here, which you can disable. The unit comes with a 10-year warranty. It’s an 80 Plus Gold certified PSU, and that’s a typical choice for even the high-end systems (maybe a bit more) from the consumer’s point of view (in terms of efficiency/price of the unit). The 1200 W variant offers a massive power output that should be enough for most users, even the most elaborate gaming setups, with a single graphics card in their system. A PC like the one used in this test (i9 13900K + Geforce RTX 4090) rarely exceeds 650 W power draw.

hwbusters.com: Montech Titan Gold 850W PSU Review (translate)

The Montech Titan Gold 850W achieves high performance, offering also a silent operation. This is a fully ATX v3.0 compliant power supply, so it won’t have a problem handling newer generation GPUs with 12+4 pin sockets.
