The Philips Evnia 27M2C5501 is a strong contender in the mid-range gaming monitor market. It offers a compelling combination of features, performance, and design at a competitive price point. To be honest, it’s only the price putting it in the mid-range market, the performance is damn good to put it up there with the best non-OLED panels and you’ll be spending more than double before you get to anything much better than the Evnia.

You are effectively purchasing two monitors in one: a high-quality, factory-calibrated 4K 160Hz panel for visual fidelity and content creation workflows work, and a hyper-competitive 1080p 320Hz panel for elite-level gaming. When considering the comprehensive feature set, excellent aesthetics, and ergonomic, I think the price is simply outstanding. If your desktop lifestyle involves a blend of high-resolution work, single-player gaming, but you also desire high-frame-rate competitive sessions, this monitor is easily one of the best on the market right now, and easily one of my favorite monitors for 2025!

If you’re a competitive gamer on a budget or a content creator seeking a high-refresh-rate monitor that doesn’t compromise on colour accuracy, the Philips Evnia 25M2N5200U is an outstanding choice. It offers premium features, including a stunning 390 Hz refresh rate, an ultra-fast response time, and excellent ergonomics, all at a price point that is hard to ignore. While its HDR performance isn’t great, this is a minor trade-off for an otherwise exceptional display. This monitor is a fantastic investment for anyone serious about their gaming experience!

Der 27“ WQHD-Monitor bietet eine Auflösung 2560 x 1440 Bildpunkten und eignet sich mit seiner Bildwiederholfrequenz von 180 Hz und einer Reaktionszeit von 0,5 ms Smart MBR auch perfekt für das Gaming. Er unterstützt mit FreeSync auch G-Sync gleich beide adaptiven Synchronisierungs-Technologien und besitzt auch eine DisplayHDR 400 Zertifizierung. Aber auch die Nachhaltigkeit steht bei dem EVNIA 27M2N5500 im Vordergrund, es kommen bis zu 85 % recycelte Kunststoffe zum Einsatz. The gaming monitor is all about being fast and responsive. 240 Hz is extremely fast, and that’s paired with the latest AMD FreeSync Premium, and a superbly fast 0.5 ms response time too. Make no mistake though, getting a game to hit refresh rates this high is no easy task, with 4K you can just put in a more powerful GPU, but for 240 Hz, you’re increasing the demands on storage, RAM, and everything else, but more so, they CPU will be working a heck of a lot harder too; just something to keep in mind.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD promises 1440p at 540Hz and a 1,000Hz Dual Mode, but slow IPS response times leave this LCD monitor well short of its headline specs.
