Today we are testing on OCinside.de the new Thermaltake Toughram RGB Memory White DDR4-3200 Dualchannel Kit with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU. Of course we have done RAM overclocking again and with such an eye-catching memory kit we have also created an awesome video with some RGB effects!

Thermaltake dives into the memory game with the TOUGHRAM RGB memory kits. Speeds of up to 3600 MHz, a sleek design, and, of course, RGB LEDs. In fact, Thermaltake is introducing a whole new level of control with their own proprietary software that even includes Alexa voice control.

So after testing the RAM I found these to have the best latency to date. If you know about the silicon lottery then you know where I’m about to go. I think I have got a decent bin. Each kit of RAM will have varying performance even if it identical speeds. Most companies certify their RAM to achieve the advertised speed for sure but what isn’t usually advertised is the actual performance. And these modules had an absolutely great latency result. Your exact result could vary even if you have the exact same hardware but you can expect great performance out of any Toughram model you choose. The Toughram design aspect still takes on the competition with a very unique design style. Getting something out there that make you stand apart is one of the most important parts of the design process and Thermaltake as always delivered when it comes to unique. And yes they kept the shiny chrome accent a part of the design just like the Toughram from before. I don’t know what it is but the chrome just adds that extra bit of wow factor. You also have multiple way to customize the lighting. You can use the Toughram software or you can use the NeonMaker if you want to dive even deeper setting each of the 5 LEDs to a certain pattern.

Toughram is Thermaltakes introduction into Memory and from the two sets I have covered I am excited to see where they can take this in the future. The Toughram RGB performs just as well as it looks and trust me they look amazing!

The "TT" logo integration as part of the design is an absolutely brilliant move. Speaking of RGB LEDs, the Thermaltake TOUGHRAM RGB still has a great implementation; a large diffusion bar with bright LEDs and a wide viewing angle.
