Bei einem solchen Preis sind die Erwartungen hoch und das Z590 VALKYRIE kann sie auch zu einem Großteil erfüllen. Vor allem das Design, die sehr gute Spannungsversorgung sowie vielen USB-Anschlüsse können überzeugen. Dennoch verdient sich das Z590 VALKYRIE eine Empfehlung von uns.

The Biostar Z590 Valkyrie may be lacking in some ways, such as a single Realtek 2.5 Gbs LAN and the lack of wireless connectivity (but include the antenna??!). That said, it still has a lot to offer any user, starting with a solid 20+2-phase power section, 8-layer PCB, and actively cooled heatsinks. The Valkyrie can also run multi-card setups listing AMD CFX support. In total, there are three M.2 sockets and six SATA ports on the data storage front along with 17 possible USB connections and Thunderbolt 4 compatibility. RGB lighting is scattered across the motherboard with a large Valkyrie wing logo on the I/O cladding and enough RGB/ARGB headers for expansion to keep any RGB LED aficionado happy.

At first glance, the BIOSTAR Z590 Valkyrie slots into the mainstream category with three M.2 slots, 2.5 Gb/s LAN, and a healthy complement of storage options, though it is lacking WiFi out of the box. On the other hand, the Z590 Valkyrie features a top-tier 21-phase VRM with 90 A power stages and even dual BIOS. When it comes to looks, the BIOSTAR Z590 Valkyrie is quite striking with a black and gold theme that's been spiced up with neon pink accents. The end result is as divisive as it is striking.
