While the Cougar chair may be a bit expensive, there are still some budget-friendly options available in the market. For example, typical office chairs that are comfortable and reasonably priced could be a viable alternative. However, it's worth noting that looks can be deceiving, as the Cougar chair's design may seem unremarkable at first glance, but it delivers a comfortable and stylish gaming experience. Regarding potential upgrades, it would be great if the chair could support a maximum weight of 150 kg and had rubber wheels instead of plastic ones. Additionally, the lumbar pad could be a bit thinner to provide more practical use, and the lumbar part should have adjustable settings. While the neck pad may not be suitable for everyone, it is removable, and users can customize the chair. Overall, we highly recommend the Cougar chair for gamers looking for a comfortable, well-designed gaming chair. Despite its cost, it offers unmatched comfort and flexibility for larger individuals. Nevertheless, if you prefer a more traditional ergonomic solution that fits both the office and the gamer's room, other options are available. Despite these drawbacks, we give the Cougar chair our seal of approval for its impressive features and excellent performance.

Overall, I am definitely very happy with the Terminator. The only changes I can think of would be for longer armrests (though, as I said, this might be due to how far I sit from my desk typically) and maybe a flatter top to the armrests as well. A mechanism that supports more arbitrary angles for the armrest would be nice too, but that is potentially something beyond the scope of a chair as you do not want something too complex. The cushions for the seat and back are firm, but not uncomfortably so by any stretch. The headrest is quite comfortable, but its curve may interfere with turning your head while wearing larger headphones. That is unlikely to be an issue for me, but depending on your habits might be an important point. The lack of height adjustment to the headrest might be an issue for some as well, but it aligns for me very well. The optional neck pillow does not align for me though, as my neck crosses the gap between the back and the headrest. The lumbar support of the chair is enough that I do not need the optional pillow as it would either push me too far forward in the chair, or have to be significantly crushed. The opening in the back may seem odd, but this will depend on your size. My back completely spans it such that I completely fail to notice it. If that would not be the case for you, the optional back blocker will fill the void, though I cannot speak to its comfort. One final thing I will add is a funny coincidence I only realized after having the chair for a few days: It matches my keycaps.
