The HyperX QuadCast S adds $20 to the already pricey QuadCast, and in the process pretty much adds only programmable RGB lighting to what’s admittedly an excellent mic. Despite the price, this is an outstanding microphone. By every reasonable measure – sonic quality, aesthetics, build quality and features – it’s a stand-out microphone that will serve any streamer or podcaster well.

The HyperX QuadCast S is a sleek, clear-sounding USB gaming microphone with a mesmerizing light show. While its lack of portability and subpar internal pop filter detract a bit from its value, it is overall a very good microphone that comes with a two-year defective warranty.

With a built-in shock mount, pop filter and customizable RGB lighting, the HyperX QuadCast S offers a great option for gamers that want both aesthetics and great sound quality.
